keep the pictures coming, i think it is helping the comeback. I think we should copyright this thread as the reason why the ASTROS are coming back in the race.
Save for possibly the '91 and 2000 seasons, this season has been excruciating to watch. It's not been the losses, it's the WAY we've lost. The series with the ChiSox even with one win. We should've taken 2 of 3. The series with the Cards before the break 2 killer extra inning losses. The Cubs sweeping us culminating with an 18 inning triple shot jack daniels and everclear bender. Bottom line, if Andy's done so are we. We must have the Big 3 to have a chance. The Stros need to find a rhythm. Gee, heard that line basically ALL year long! Some timely and situational hitting have simply possibly completely killed our chances at the playoffs. Dont laugh but IMO we still have a better chance at the division than the WC, if only we could figure out how to beat the Cards when it matters. We shall see ... but this team is far from playoff ready from what I see. Too many holes and not enough results. BUT ... despite all that they're still ALIVE! For what that's worth.
Always a bad sign when your friend in STL emails you to see if you saw the highlights of the previous nights HOU/STL game. I forgot to check the box score before going to bed, so I was really hesitant to see what I would find. I guess my only real surprise is that Pujols didn't hit the ball all the way to El Paso.
Yeah, we surely have never beaten the Cardinals when it matters. Oh wait...... they won a few kind of important ones last year in October, but those really didn't matter though.
