Barbosa would be great. It offsets the loss of Brooks. Although the Rockets must still shore up its back court to compete for the title.

Brooks is way overrated. He has no defense and his assist/turnover ratio is not good either. Besides his stength and height put the ceiling even lower. I'd say this year's Brooks is almost his best possible.

Amare will make us an instant contender.

 

It has nothing to do with Clutch being on something. Clutch is just reporting what the rumors are out there concerning the Rockets.

He has no defense but somehow Blake and Fish struggled against AB. Not saying he's a great defender but he's going to put some effort in defending someone. Look at Iverson he's the same size as Brooks, he has a lot of potential he's still developing.

 

Pretty hilarious that some people actually think Morey won't deal Tmac in a heartbeat if the right offer comes along.

So who would you guys think could be packaged with Amare? Jason Richardson's "bad" contract might be in play in this scenrio. I wouldnt mind much at all. We need a athletic SG, and he could fit the bill. I'm not sure if Phoenix would need Brooks much. They have Babrbosa, which gives them the intagibles, that Brooks could give them, since Nash is their main man.

 

Comparing Aaron Brooks to Vassilis Spanoulis is like comparing Cuttino Mobley to Dan Langhi.

 

Possible but the Tmac and filler for Amare and filler would still be the best case scenario.

Right off the bat, two players cant be involved in SnT deals. They could still swing it in another trade to get the same result in the end though. Thats a poor scenrio actually, b/c Ron would have to make Amare money which isnt quite gonna happen.
