    It sounds like the sun rox rumor is gaining serious momention. 610 is reporting that talks are definitely going on, and other places are saying flat out the suns have offered it and we are thinking.

    WHAT IF!!!

    Tmac, Brooks, Landry for Amare and Leandro

    Battier to Sac for Udrih OR Kenny Thomas and their pick

    I would rather the beno udrih rumor. Beno is less expensive but for longer and kenny is only 2 years but much more expensive.

    I gotta admit,DM is trying his best to get something done. I doubt if it will work out,but it is intriguing. This shows me that the McGrady/Amare stuff is fading.

    Battier alone is better than any garbage that can be had with that pick plus not having to take on trash like Beno Udrih or Kenny Thomas (that guy is seriously still around?)

    This is the 2000 draft all over again.

    Now lets come up with a reasonable way of getting Amare, barbosa, AND memphis 2nd pick. According to the nba trade machine we can do tmac for barbosa and tmac straight up. That would let us offer brooks to memphis, but im not sure why they want another PG when they just sent us lowry.

    I was bored and reading around, and it seems a lot of Suns fans don't want this.

    But it sounds like most of them are way underrating Brooks. Or maybe we just all overrate him. But I'm leaning towards the former.

    If we pull of a Landry + Tmac for Amare
    and a Battier + Brooks for Rubio we are looking a pretty nasty starting lineup but we still would have some big holes. Still without a big finisher unless the team feels Wafer can become a go to guy over night.

    I honestly don't want to see Aaron brooks leave, he hasn't been in the league very long to show his true potential and I really think this guy will be an all star caliber pg in the near future. Though... Amare and Yao in the front court does sound very scary :eek:

    I guess you think the Rockets are going to resign Wafer and Artest then because they are free to go where ever they want. Also with that Line-up this team is doomed. I doubt this team would do any damage.
