Wikipedia is not reliable source. Everyone can put things up there.

Bret Hart put up that sign for "H"art. That sign always seems to represent the letter "H" (fingers pointing straight up that is, fingers spread could mean a few other things).

You know Tmac's contract is so darn valuable with insurance and all...it would be freaky if we are all crazy about Amare and Morey pulls off something else out of left field thats even even better lol...honestly I think something happens like the tradeline last year where we never saw it coming.

I would hate to see Brooks and Landry go but if it can get Amare and we can get him to sign a extension in the next offseason, Im all for it. We will need a starting point guard because although AB was not a allstar, he was better than Lowry and Barbosa is not a point guard. We need to find someway to get into the lottery or early mid-first round (10-15 pick) and get one of the young point guards in the draft. We better resign Artest also because without him, we would not have a starting point guard.

C Yao Ming/TBA (please get well soon Yao!!!)
    PF Amare/Scola
    SF Battier
    SG Artest/Barbosa/Wafer
    PG TBA/Lowry

    Get it done Morey!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Yes, it would save us approximately 5 mill a yr, which would allow us to sign Ron to a 10 mill a yr extension. Tmac+AB+Carl = 27.5 mil/yr, and AMare+Barbosa = 22 mil/yr.

Not a fan of this trade myself.

Brooks is too valuable to us in my opinion since while Barbosa can play point but I can't say I trust him with it. And I can't see Lowry being anything more then average at the position.

We go through with this then we have to land a point guard else where to take on the starting role and probably not get Artest since the money to get a good veteran starting point guard won't be cheap short of a miracle.

We could re-sign him for any amount regardless, we hold his bird rights.

Such as the rumored trade for a top 5 pick to draft a PG, presumably Rubio? Though I'm not sure what other assets we have to work with after the Amare trade.

i would love this deal. barbosa can play PG or SG off the bench. he's a guy who gets you buckets plain and simple, and amare hits that 15 footer like noone's business. simply put, we get two upgrades at the PF and the SG spot. Barbosa is a hundred times more efficient than T-Mac.

You're kidding me? Wikipedia is the authoritative source for absolutely everything. You can bet that every single piece of information on that site is FACT.

Keep in mind that Amara has never been with a team that was committed to defense. Those of you arguing that Carl is a better defender than him need to remember that defense is just as much mental as it is physical. Amare has the physical tools to be a great defender- he's long and athletic. In a good system I think he can be a solid if not great defender.

The good Suns teams he's been on were to busy running up and down the court to worry about defense.

Give me a break. People work at Wikpedia don't have the carefulness to review everything to detail. Everyone can edit, as long as you pass their so called "expert review", you will be making FACT!
