FYI, AdoramaPIX, one of the labs I've used in the past for enlargements, is doing a VALENTINE's DAY sale for Lustre: I feel like local labs don't do such a good job with my prints.
1. Canon 300D - 1st camera, now mainly as backup. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_eos300d.asp 2. Fujifim f31fd for compactness. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilmf31fd/ 3. Canon 40D - this would be it, it has all the features that I'd need. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_eos40d.asp
I have a Canon PowerShot G9 for everyday use and a Canon XSi for real photography. I'm in love with them both.
I don't recommend my camera. It takes like 15 seconds for it focus for a picture -- it's excruciating. Plus, I played around with nearly every setting and flash combo imaginable, it's nearly impossible to take a good picture at night. My pictures from the Super Bowl party/madness/debauchery were all weak.
That's weird. I have a friend with this same camera and he swears by it... isn't this the one that Ashton Kucher [sic] uses? Do you think yours might be defective? How about taking it back to where you bought it for an exchange? It should still be under warranty, maybe?
