The point is that if I WANTED or LIKED this weather, I would have moved up north. One of the main reasons I live in Texas is b/c it's not supposed to get this cold.
The only drama queens here are the people who live in cold weather places. "How dare you non snow people talk about a rare event in your city!" I mean, people are just talking about it and you guys are accusing them of blowing it out of proportion. The only people making a big deal are you. On top of that, you start sharing your snow stories like you are desperate for attention.
I saw a few flurries earlier today.. literally just a few... And got a little excited.. I have seen some snow the last two years while in Nashville for college.. and I definitely got excited since it was first time I really saw real snow.. but nothing is like seeing snow in Houston.. it's just so rare that is very cool.. my northeastern friends make fun of me for getting excited over it but hey.. we get a few flurries in houston today and get back to 70s by the end of the week. we have it pretty good meanwhile they have months of freezing weather
it's snowing!!!!!! just got through firing a few snowballs 20 mins ago first time since I've seen a REAL amount of snow since I was 3 in 1989
YEAH!!! its starting to come down pretty good were i live and its not ledding up i made a snow angel and had snow ball fights, never seen houston like this, it reminds me of all the good times in NY i had
its starting to come down here in the near northwest area. i hate these stupid kids messing up other peoples cars by touching the snow off other peoples car. its not your car, leave it alone. i took some pics with my phone. it cost .25 cents to send these pics to my email. but ****, its worth it.
my car is white. and you people up north, shut the hell up. no one is claiming this is incredible snow and our city will be shut down. but its like when other areas get 2-3 inches of rain and they cry about flooding. or when boston had 90s/100s a couple years ago. since this isn't the norm its special.
