Texting is the way to go. If you're going to have a useless convo you might as well do it by texting.
Very interesting opinions on the length of calls. I was always under the impression that it had to be like 30 mins or more to be a successful call. Otherwise, the other person didn't like the other one anymore. So y'all really just talk a few mins sometimes? I still can't wrap my mind around that concept.
I feel like if I haven't seen her all day.. and won't see her later that day.. then I need to spend at least 30 minutes on the phone with her.. just to let her know that I care.
Typically 30 seconds - 10 minutes, anything over that is really unnecessary. I can't stand talking over the phone - people are distracted, every other sentence is misheard, etc. If you're going to spend time with that person face-to-face on a regular basis, what's the point of a 3 hour phone conversation?
