I looked it up too, and while the Kings to do have tie breaker now, that would change if Phoenix beats them on the last day of the season since their division record is superior.
Suns are not out yet. Those tweets are just typical misinformation being passed around in social media. The good thing is, they are 2.5 games out with 4 games left. Very unlikely they'll get in. And we need to root for Blazers, Heat, and Bulls to push the Suns even lower in the standings.
No, the Suns haven't been eliminated yet. Stop spreading that crap from random registered nurse accounts and Barstool. Another Barstool story is talking about Jaylen Brown's training "regiment". Like he has a damn military unit following him around.
Phoenix has to lose 2 games for it to be a lock. If they lose 1 game, they will end at 44 loses, the same as Sac if Sac loses all 4 of their games. Phoenix has the tie breaker if they beat the Kings. I think it's the same with Dallas. What am I missing? I don't want to be one of the stupid people.
A bit of a win win situation for the Rockets with OKC losing two games in a row in pretty bad fashion. Unfortunately, Cavaliers were not able to take care of business and close the gap to 1 game behind. However: OKC currently has a 1.5 game lead over Cavaliers (Cavs have the better conference record). If they lose again to the Lakers, then they must go 3-0 (assuming Cavs do not lose another game) to secure homecourt against the Cavs. That means OKC is motivated to win all remaining games. If they beat the Lakers, Rockets clinch 2nd seed even if the Rockets lose all remaining games. If OKC lose to the Lakers, there is significant pressure for them to go 3-0 to avoid losing home court, That means 3 of the Sun's last 4 games are against teams that are highly motivated to win (Warriors, Thunder and Kings). So funny enough, Rocket fans should be rooting for OKC at this point. OKC beating Lakers and Suns in their next two games have massive positive implications for this team.
Bulls, Blazers, Kings all won along with another Suns defeat. I think GS can take care of the Suns. They must be sulking after losing to the Rockets!
I believe the magic no for Suns is 2 and the magic no for Rockets is 1. With 2 more losses Suns are eliminated and with 1 more win Rox lock up the second seed. Rox need to beat one of Clippers, Lakers and Nuggets. Def a murderer's row. Suns need to lose 2 games vs GSW, OKC, Spurs and Kings. I think Rox's best chances are vs the Nuggets, its hard to beat Clippers at full strength and Lakers its 5v8. For the Suns I dont see them beating either OKC or GSW, not without KD.
It looks like the Suns are in tank mode and Sac is trying to make the playoffs. I think we are good. Playoffs and another thrilling offseason. Good time to be a Rockets fan
How fing amazing would it be for the Rockets to get hot and win the chip and then get the #1 pick?! Speaking it into existence!!
Would make an almost perfect season if the Suns land the #1 pick...but we know the odds are against that and the NBA will never allow it.
The Rockets have an advantage in the Clippers game. LA will be on a B2B(albeit a home one with the first game being against the Spurs). The Rockets meanwhile will have had 2 days off.
The NBA doesn't ****ing rig the lottery. It is so dumb to keep hearing these ridiculous comments - I've been polite in previous posts, but if you think the NBA decided that the highest profile prospect in a generation should go to the smallest media market to an irrelevant team with no other stars, and somehow the other 30 billionaire egotistical owners accepted it and never said a word, you are just a worm-addled conspiracy theorist moron.
There not in tank mode unless they are definitely trading with us. They are just bad without KD. Tanking makes no sense when you don't have your own pick.
