Yeah it does not even really make sense in how they could do it. It's almost like what you get from Durant you would need to use to offload that contract. I think what ends up happening is they trade everyone and get young players use the picks they get from other teams and do their best. I don't see another viable option. No matter what they do they will be giving the teams that have their picks top10 lottery. They need to think what is best for their long term future. It's a sunk cost.
We're #10.....or #11, or #12. I would not have believed it possible at the beginning of the season we could end up with a top 10 lottery pick and the second-best record in the West.
It doesn’t work like that. At least one of the two play-in teams with better records goes to the play-offs as 7th seed
As of tonight, we’re in 10th spot on a Tankathon thanks to MVP Beal with monster 1pt game against Celtics! 9th spot could jump our chances of top 4 picks by double and looking at Suns season they might give us Cooper Flagg.
Yeah, the Rockets should get a good player in this drafts. They will pick in the upper middle of the draft (between 10-14). Considering how deep the draft is, it should be a high quality player. And then there is a chance, though slim it could be top 4. Next years pick belongs to OKC, after the idiot trade that was Westbrook for Paul (finally that bumbling lunacy is almost complete). But 2027 looks to be a very good draft for the Rockets too, where the Rockets get the best out of PhX, Bklyn , and Houston…. Sweet!!!
If I have it right, they own Phoenix's pick outright and have a swap with Brooklyn. So they could get two lottery picks in that draft.
Sadly, it is only rolled once on draft day. Do the Rockets get to send someone to the reveal, or does it have to be the Suns because it is a pick swap?
Last 7 rolls on tankathon: Khaman Maluach at 10 Derick Queen at 10 Ace Bailey at 3 Cooper Flagg at 1 Jeremiah Fears at 11 Cooper Flagg at 1 Dylan Harper at 2 lol fun to dream
