I hope we keep the pick Booker just looks worse and worse and KD is getting played to the ground.

On our end we actually need a better bench. Outside Jabari/Tari nobody in the bench is reliable and goid enough to be bench for a championship team.

But Durant for one of the picks and maybe one of the underdevelopped young players + fillers, that's great for me.
Durant with this cast can still give the Rockets 3 to 5 years of winning offense whilst opening and keeping the championship Window open.

Don't want Booker at all. I think Jalen can still get to where he is now, whilst remaining more engaged and loyal to the franchise and the city.

Very good chance those three guys are all off the board by the Suns pick.

Nah there’s no way we’d get Flag for that. Flag has the best potential out of any of those players by far.

How do we match salaries? If they would accept one draft pick who else do we have to send out. We could have made it happen at the deadline. Adams, Tate, Jeff Green expire the minute the season ends. Landale, Reed, Zeller, Cam adds up to 27m. Are you including Dillon? You could do it straight up for FVV if you pick up his option, but would Phoenix do it and what are we going to do for a backup PG? The trade for Durant made sense at the deadline, it doesn't now. Booker has never made sense. I think Jalen may be the better player the rest of this season and is on an upward trajectory, while Booker is super max with a declining trajectory. We might could use the picks to facilitate moving Durant to NY or another team and pick up someone that actually fits on our team.

i'm in the Kasparas Clan. We need intelligent playmaking + shooting. This dude would be perfect for us in so many ways.

Phili is a walking disaster maybe Houston can swindle Maxey for some of these picks, Cam, Reed and Eason

    I can dream.

Only if they fire Morey. Morey won't ever trade vets for picks, unless he's got some other trade lined up for an over-the-hill superstar.

The Rockets might be the most useful trade partner for the Suns, but I don't see that working in the opposite direction.

They have nothing to offer that the Rockets need.

Jalen has outplayed Booker this year and still has more upside.
Durant is too old, too expensive and a one year rental who plays no defense and is little more than a spot up shooter. I could be convinced to take him as a free agent but I'm not giving up assets for a dude who will be 37 next season at more than $54m.
Beal might be the worst contract in the entire league.

I'm giving them no relief unless I'm getting a young star in return. Otherwise, collect lottery picks. They don't have a young star.

Pretty sure Jalen would have to go out in any deal for Maxey. An Amen/Maxey backcourt could definitely end up being championship caliber though. Stagger their minutes, FVV as a veteran backup 6th man.

We own Suns picks till 2030 or something. We shouldnt even help them out IMO. Let them flop around till 2031 so we and the Wizards can benefit.

Maybe the Rockets take Beal and all of the Suns assets they get from trading Booker and Durant. That really doesnt make sense because they need the salary though.

Suns picks back to the Suns 1 pick and 2 swaps.
Trading Booker and Durant gets you whatever .... say 5 picks/swaps back to Houston

The Rockets can essentially dictate the terms because if the Rockets really do not want Durant nor Booker then the Suns do not have a choice. Either you get back control of your assets or you remain at status quo and nothing will fix itself and they will only get worse.

With something like this option you are multiplying the picks you get from Harden into.

    Tari Eason
    Reed Sheppard
    1/2 of Cam Whitmore
    2027 Nets swap
4-5 total picks and swaps from giving back the Suns assets.

There is downside to this because what you trade for may be lesser upside picks and swaps than what it looks like the Suns will give you. in that you could just not do anything and see where the Suns picks end up. Then make the decision as the picks come to trade them individually, package them with other picks and/or players for a "superstar"

They have 3 picks, all worst of between now and 2031.

Aside from that, The Rockets & Wizards control their picks.

They seem to refuse to trade Booker (that's a good thing) can't trade Beal and Durant's value is minor and difficult to trade because of the huge contract. They won't get much in return.

I can't see how they are better than a .500 team in the next 5 years or more and they are probably worse than that the longer it plays out.

I wouldn't help them out of that hole.

Egor Demin or Asa Newell should be the target if the Rockets end up with #10, 11 or 12 via suns

    Hoping one of them falls

Durant isn't a spot up shooter wtf. You don't average 27 being a spot up shooter. Come on now

Again, typical loser mentality of not wanting a superstar like Devin Booker. I’m pretty darn sure he could crack our starting lineup and make us a much better team!

the crap of it all is I hate seeing Philly get bailed out by tanking for one year and getting a potential franchise player. But if their pick doesn’t end up top 6, OKC gets a likely mid-lotto pick. Obviously much better for the rockets if Philly keeps their pick but I don’t have to like it ;)
