    • biggest "star" player is Eric Bledsoe, no noticeable douchebags
    • two guys averaging 20 pts a game, 6 guys averaging 10 pts a game
    • western team with a record of 14-9; several losses are close games to top teams
    • team ball, everyone defers on offense and helps on defense
    • fun offense to watch; everyone is ready to take an open shot and take their man 1on1 if need be
    • everyone hustles
    • Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic
    • occasional Gerald Green dunk
    • commentators aren't the best but aren't annoying

Suns and Celtics: surprise teams of the year. Who is the coach of the Suns? I've been reading a lot of praise from Celt fans about their coach.

    they're overachieving.

i like their medical staff A LOT!

i would trade a 1st round pick for their staffs

On the one hand, Gogi is awesome, I played against Dionte Christmas many times growing up, and I still have a soft spot for Ish Smith.

On the other hand, their coach is Jeff Hornacek. **** that guy.

Their coach is Jeff Hornacek, your argument is invalid.

Key word why this team succeeds is team ball. Willing passers! Probably a pretty good coach too, I heard good things as someone else mentioned.

What's surprising is that they are bottom 3 in the league for assists per game. They actually do a lot more of 1-on-1 ball than it looks. In fact, if you look over all their team stats, they don't do anything particularly well statistically (offense, defense, rebounding, etc.) except transition points. Somehow they just do stuff better than their opponents when they play them.

Yeah, they can do funny stuff. For eg, Bledsoe is a bad 3P shooter but when the game is on the line he just hits those long range daggers. The guy is clutch.

Morey should have drafted Miles Plumlee instead of Royce White. Plumlee looks like a budding franchise Center.

If I was a suns fan, I'd hope for a major injury that keeps bledsoe or dragic out for the remainder of the season....they NEED to tank so they're not stuck in mediocrity. If this Suns team added Jabbari Parker.....watch out.

Everybody thought they would be bottom three in the western conference.

    EVERYBODY.

    Suns, Kings and the Jazz.

Every other team was discussed as playoff hopefuls, even the Pelicans.

Bledsoe missed 6, Dragic 3, their 1st round 5th pick only played 5 games due to injury, 3rd leading scorer Gerald Green, Channing Frye revived, the twins (look twins!) are both playing well, Plumlee played 50 minutes in total last yea.

They don't really even have what passes for rim protectors.

Good coaching makes a big difference.
