I was listening to my Live Phish, Volume 10, from Columbus, OH 6/22/94. They come out to start set II and Trey (lead singer/guitarist) tells the audience that its the end of the first quarter and Houston leads by 5.

Later, during their song Icculus, which is a real comical nonsensical song, Trey again mentions the Rockets saying, "It doesn't matter if you're up by 5, you've got to read the book! I don't care if you're Rahim, Hakeem or Lasheem.. Read the F%^(in' Book!!"

I've had this show for sometime but never noticed the references.. Just thought any Phish phans on the BBS might get a kick out of this. ;)

6/22/94? wouldn't basketball season be over by then?

the OJ car chase/Rockets vs Knicks game 3 was on 6/2/94 wasn't it?

my dates may be all mixed up
