If Les was concerned about the marketing dollars, he wouldn't have agreed to cut Lin last December. He would have told Morey to keep Lin at the end of the bench. His anger after the Toronto game appears to have more to do with the fact that Lin was clutch, a game changer. That's not something you find everyday, especially from a player so young and with so little pro experiences. How many young players who have been undrafted and cut multiple times would have the moxie to take that shot with the whole world watching? Not to mention making it. Lin's critics discounted him as a marketing tool back at the days when he was on the Golden State too. They all ate crow when Lin exploded in New York. It seems we're back to square one again. SMH.
Taiwan and Chinese money only come if Lin is good. Remember Yi Jian Lian? I'm sure Milwaukee doesn't regret drafting him now, with all that chinese $$$ rolling in I don't know why you think Dragic is better than Lin, to me they're a bit of a wash, in fact I'd probably prefer Lin because he was consistent when given PT and not injured, Dragic had bouts of performing and then playing like a backup pg, why do you think PHX gave up on him the first time around? Most of the Lin hate comes from people who don't think things through and just make up wild assumptions. 8M for an average pg is market value, and Lin could be so much better than average.
