I don't know why the Jeremy Lin's contract has been bashed so much. It's not like we gave him the max or something, 25 mil for a young pg with potential is market value imo.

16 pts in the 4th quarter not good enough for you? That was a game summary I guess, but the main point was Jeremy foiling the Sixers almost single-handedly in the 4th.

But here's the vid with only Jeremy's contributions:

Dude, it's all good, stop with the videos of this game. Rational posters get what you're saying. Onreego is just being a d.i.c.k.

I can't think of another player whose contract numbers -- even down to its structure -- are so widely discussed and known by heart. And before Lin, I've never seen players publicly comment on another player's contract amount. People just didn't do that before, and don't do it with anyone else. It wasn't, and I think still isn't, considered kosher to do that.

Yet, even though it is so widely discussed, the media rarely puts it in the context of other contracts, and the market value of above average PGs. It's similar with Asik's contract. There is no way to assess it intelligently without considering the going rate for talented big men.

So the source is bashing moreys decision to give a contract to someone based on their stats. Is this real life? How the F**K else are you supposed to make a correct analysis of a player in the nba? By how they look? How high they can jump? The writer of this article is a moron as is the idiot who actually says something like this with a straight face. Why nothing aboutout batums ridiculous contract whigh is basically double lins?

(Reuters) - Philadelphia is home to the least attractive people in the United States, a survey of visitors and residents showed on Friday.

The city of more than 1.5 million people was also found to be among the least stylish, least active, least friendly and least worldly, according to the "America's Favorite Cities" survey by Travel & Leisure magazine and CNN Headline News.

About 60,000 people responded to the online survey -- at www.travelandleisure.com -- which ranked 25 cities in categories including shopping, food, culture, and cityscape, said Amy Farley, senior editor at the magazine.

For unattractiveness, Philadelphia just beat out Washington DC and Dallas/Fort Worth for the bottom spot. Miami and San Diego are home to the most attractive people, the poll found.

But Farley pointed out the results don't mean people in Philadelphia are ugly or the city is a bad place to visit.

"We were asking people to vote on attractiveness, not unattractiveness. Travel & Leisure editors believe there are a lot of attractive people in Philadelphia," she said.

"The relative attractiveness of its residents is only a minuscule factor in evaluating a city's merit."

Philadelphians' self-esteem has been undermined by national surveys showing they are among the fattest people in the United States. The American Obesity Association ranked the city in the top 10 for overweight people every year between 2000 and 2005.

And sporting pride in a city known for the fierce loyalty of its fans has been hurt by not having had a national champion in any of its four main sports since the 76ers won the National Basketball Association title in 1983.

No need to get offended. I'm just saying that video wasn't a very strong back up for your point. I understand you're a Lin fan but not every comment is an attack on him. Sorry if it came across that way.

Lol just because I point out one thing I'm being a dick, you LOFs get really offended easily. Honestly, would you agree that video wasn't a very strong support for his point. Read my post above this and calm down. I'm a Rockets fan and I support the whole team, including Lin. Sorry, I will never again comment on our savior.

Win a championship? They are a 2nd round exit at best in the weak East.

    Not offended...

"16 pts in the 4th quarter not good enough for you?" should have been read as "16 pts in the 4th quarter not good enough for you? =P"

I guess this is why people invented emoticons.
