Wow, Elton Brand and T-Mac on the same team. Has there ever been a time when you would see oft-injured, overpaid, overrated players on the same team? This has to happen! ;)

Chris Sheridan unintentionally makes the argument as to why not to trade for him/them.

And one other little sidenote from his chat today:

It seems to me that Steven A. Smith is trying to get TMAC to Philly

(Taken from the most recent Sixers game)

Reports out of Philly are stating that T-Mac sneaked into town and has already placed himself on the Sixers bench. Apparently forcing the Houston Rockets to make a move. Which only proves that for the last few years, T-Mac has been the one calling all the shots for the organization. That sneaky T-Mac up to his bag of tricks again for one last time.

Beat me to the little Bulls snippet, I posted it in the Random Trades thread anyway...

I'd CONSIDER Ty Thomas, Hinrich, Salmons and #1 For TMAC

I don't see the Bulls adding their first rounder.

    Sorry:cool:

But yeah, I'd consider it also. Not sure they'd give up the pick though. I also saw your post in random trades thread, but the lineup you posted, what happened to Battier? lol

If they're that desperate to get a second max player I'd make them add it! It is going to be VERY hard to trade any of those guys as they Lakers are even hesitant about making a deal for Hinrich's contract but if they truly want a mega expiring contract then force them to sweeten the deal.

I'm not so sure, they would be trading away a potential lottery pick.

I always forget about Battier lol...see him getting traded if we would go for something like that it would be just to much salary wrapped up in Hinrich, Salmons, Battier and Ariza.

Screw the lottery, they're going after 2 max players! ;)

I'd have to agree, I'd want a pick back in return in a trade of that nature.

Explain to me how T-Mac was overrated? Because he couldnt get his team out of the first round? Is that your argument because if it is that a piss poor way to rate a player.

    He's also an idiot.

Iverson's first game back was vs. Denver on December 7th, 2009. The Sixers lost by 10 points that game -- I'll get back to Chris when I figure out how it's possible for Iggy to choke on a 10-point shot. Ahh -- he's referring to the game before Iverson's debut. Iggy hit two FTs to give the Sixers a 1 point lead with 13 seconds left, Felton went coast to coast and layed it up with 4 seconds left, the Sixers poorly inbounded to Young, who panicked and threw it to Iggy who was forced to take an off balance shot at the buzzer which missed. Not exactly the best example of why a guy isn't clutch, IMO.

I don't know which game he's referring to on the free throw shot.

But he also conveniently ignores the big shots Iggy has made this year, while giving out vague "examples" of the times he's choked. Kobe has missed game winning shots too, but it's not much of an argument to say Kobe chokes with the game on the line by giving out a few vague examples of the time he's missed without commenting on those he made.

That's true. And another player will have to be moved as we'd have 16 players on the roster with that proposed trade.

Yea like upgrading the team through the draft. Everybody is looking at the most obvious and larger details and shift away from looking at smaller simple details to improve the team.

If T-Mac is not overrated, then everybody here will eat crow. He'll join Elton Brand, Iverson as the big 3 of the east, and then you can celebrate their playoff run.

The rest of us, Rockets fans, will be surprised.

Dude trust me im a rocket fan but T-Mac is in some ways unfairly hated on. You might not think so and other rocket fans dont think so but there are some ROCKET fans that do think so.

So dont think im a T-Mac only fan because im far from that. When i do judge someone i judge them on a fair scale.

So you can back off the BS if me not being a rocket fan home boy.
