[Philly Inquirer] Trade rumors swirling around 76ers' Iguodala(McGrady)

Phx will probably be the team to screw us at the deadline. Mark it.

 

This is the best trade I heard so far.....I'd even be willing to part way's with Landry or Brooks, and still take on Brand's contract, If it meant getting Philly's first pick(unprotected)

PS. I played mock draft 10 times and got philly every time in the top 3, just thinking about adding an athletic big man like Derrick Favors to our frontline or potentially adding John Wall to our back court, totally makes taking on Brand's contract worth it, even if we have to lose a young asset to do it.

 

One more reason to pull the trigger now, instead of waiting for the last minute. Morey is as smart as they come, but maybe too smart? He can draft, but can he trade? We will soon find out.

 

Favors is a beast ain't he? I can see him stepping in being Landry X2. Though i also some what think philly is BS!!!! just to see what teams out there might take on Brand again in a similar type situation if it arises. Would they trade for a pick somehow and swap it with them and Brand/Iggy if not this year, then next? Maybe!!

 

Iggy for 5 years - $12 million

Brand for 4 years - $15 million

Like Utah for instance. Philly/Utah swap picks for the swap of Boozer/Brand or Dalembert/Kerilenko Williams/Iggy.

Philly/Utah definately has something to look into for sure. Speights? All the bigs in the draft AND Wall, they already have Williams think about it.

The odds for Philly right now is 8.275%

 

That's about the same odds of Scola NOT saying "Big game" before our next game.

 

So we sit on pick 13? I see us moving no where, i think they are about where they are trying to be pick 13. That guy, runs the floor, scores in a variety of ways, rebounds and block shots, sounds like an Adelman type player. What are the chances of moving upwards? i don't see we can actually

Added salary? How in the hell does he plan to bring in championship level talent? Free Agency is not happening, and it is foolish to think the draft will net us something big. Caron Butler has lost a step, and is a band-aid at best... This should be good.

I don't get it actually. There is better deals out there without giving up more then McGrady and without taking on to get. How are they to move Iggy and want more then McGrady? This means they'd be giving up more then Iggy/Dalembert.
