But the line up would have to be different:

    Brooks/Conroy
    Iggy/Ariza
    Chase/Nocioni
    Bosh/Scola
    Hayes/Anderson

    I would do that trade

I wouldn't touch Nocioni with a ten-feet pole. Yes, I'd rather have Sammy Dalembert than Nocioni whos useless to us...

And that PG rotation is as stable as Trevor Ariza's shot

Just watch. You will think unstable when you see Conroy start to light it up. He's starting to simmer down in D-league...........again. Has nothing left to prove at that level. He can be very effective at the NBA level and he is ready. Think Kyle Lowry with a better shot.

LOL @ the projected -10 wins for the Sixers

I don't see this kind of deal going down in a million years. But it's a good fantasy team. And we give up very little (Lowry). WTF, get 'er done, Morey!

From what i hear Philly will try to move just Iggy without Dalembert's contract. After hearing that, then i played with the trade machine. Scola/Lowry/Cook/Hayes for Iggy and just hang onto McGrady contract or move him?

No way the team gives up that much to get Iggy.

You don't know they could have McGrady lined out to fill gaps. From what i hear Iggy 'has a chance' sounds legit to me and from what i hear all their asking is expirings. That is really not alot if you ask me. They could let McGrady expire and try to resign them.

I do agree with you that if they gave up that much that they would have to have something else done "filling the gaps" with a Mac deal. Just don't think Iggy gives you more than Scola/Lowry

Well i think it's better to give in order to get rather then to take on in order to get. I think if they give in order to get, then your still a mediocre player on the market assuming you just hang onto Tracy. Would you take your chances with Iggy/Gay for Scola/Lowry for the long term? Or just keep Scola/Lowry, move McGrady, take on salary and risk Scola/Lowry walking? If you keep McGrady then you have Scola/Lowry think about it. I'd take my chances for the long terms and play it safe.

Unless we are trading Mcgrady for a PF/C and a PG, that would be a terrible move. We would be down to Andersen starting C, no back up pg, etc etc.

We've been through that before. We still have 10 day contracts to offer to Conroy and Who Pops?

You are either dreaming or crazy if you think Philly is trading its 1st rounder.
They are looking to get big talent on the cheap which describes their pick.
They want someone to take Dalembert or Brand with AI so they can grab a big FA to go with the #1 pick(hopefully).

If Philly wants an asset like Landry with T-Mac in return for AI and Dalembert then Philly needs to toss in a Williams or Young and Houston needs to get rid of their mistake:ARIZA.
Problem is they don't want to part with young talent.
So something like T-Mac,Ariza,Landry for AI,Dalembert, and Williams or Young. Throw in dead weight if you have to in order to get the money right.

Other problem is I don't think Morey considers Ariza a mistake.

why do people want to trade away/bring in a large group of players when only certain pieces are needed?

I don't know. These roster-wide changes that people are proposing are ridiculous. You can get players for free using McGrady's contract.
