So, who was the 2nd option the year dallas went to the finals? Who was the rockets 2nd option the year they went to the finals? Since when does 20ppg doesn't equal a scorer in this watered down league? Manu nor parker were avg 20 ppg.

It was Jason Terry, while the Heat had Shaq. LOL. That's why they lost.

I forgot to answer the 2nd question. Rockets had Drexler.

You're missing a year (to which I think he's referring to) - don't sell us short!

So you think they lost because terry wasn't a good enough 2nd option even though shaq struggled big time in the playoffs? tony parker has just started making all stars and manu 1 time, yet they have 3 titles with those guys including a rookie parker starting and manu not even playing. Its about high quality players and iggy is a high quality player.

Shaq's struggle is different than Terry. Shaq still averaged over 60% dominated the boards, and messed up the Mavs defense. The Mavs were so focused on stopping him in that series, that they gave up open shots to other players.

If you still want to believe Terry was better, I can't argue with that.

Scoring is one aspect of basketball... Iguodala is just as good as Ray Allen...

Not to mention the age factor.

Allen is purely a shooter. Iguodala is a good at more than one thing.

The NBA is a business, if a team is losing money, it is not dumb to jettison talent to get back to making money it is smart.

But the average fan doesn't look at it that way.....

Short of including a 3rd team I just find it hard to believe a deal could be worked out with out Dalembert's contract. TMac for Williams, Iggy and Young would work but I just cant see Philly doing that. I guess we will see.

True, but I will let the particulars of any deal be worked out by the experts....

Honestly, I am more interested in moving Ariza and his 5 years right now.

Thing is, Dallas is going after Iggy too and are willing to offer Josh Howard in a trade, provide cap relief and probably take on Dalembert.

Morey wants Philly to add youth, won't take on Dalembert/Brand, and is the centerpiece is Tracy McGrady...
