I have addressed the first argument already.

Ron Artest, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Pau Gasol have lower scoring averages after going to championship teams. It's easier for them to score with less attention, but they don't have the ball in their hands all the time. When you watch the old games of these players, they had the ball in their hands all the time. Now when you watch them, you can see they get the ball less. I agree that that's easier to score when they get touches, but there are fewer touches when it's split between other good players.

A more honest answer from Kenny, one I've heard him use more than once, is that it was much easier playing with Hakeem. No surprise there!

I'm not talking about lower scoring averages, I'm talking about game period. Iggy on the celts with pierce and garnett and they probably still win the title. I know they would've had a easier time with cleveland in which allen played terrible. Gasol is different because he's a big man, but gasol as the number 1 option on a team was in the lotto his last 2 yrs also. What you're missing or fail to address is the guy can score at a effective level, he's a hell of a defender, good passer, and rebounder from the wing. He is the classic #2 option. Just because a guy is a pure #2 option doesn't make him any less than a guy who was a 1 that is a 2 now. For what ray allen does and playing with kg and pierce, he should shoot 50% from the field.

Yeah, u could say that. I'm just telling betterthanever, its hard to score when you'e the sole focus vs having help. Alot of pople on this board always talk about he's puttin up number on a crappy team. Hey man, thats not a easy thing to do.

You mean the 2 years that he played 59 and 39 games?

No comparisons to Kobe or Ray Allen or any other elite player, just answer one questions.

Do you think Iggy is a high quality player that plays good defense and good offense?

He's a great upgrade over Battriza, and makes a great 3rd option.

The Rockets still need a scorer at the swingman position, even if Battriza is broken up.

Well, thank God the Celts had Ray Allen as their third option because if they would have had a player like Iggy as their third option, there is no way they would have won that championship????????????????

This argument is not worth pursuing. Needless to say, if we add Iggy to our team we will be a much better team. The only question is what is the best value we can get for McGrady's contract.

Iguodala may seem to struggle as a first option according to Phila., but as a 2nd or 3rd option he'd be one of the best players we could even hope to roster.

This 1st option, 2nd option argument is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. You fill your team with quality players and take the best shot available. You dont pass up on having three #2 guys because you don't have a #1.
