I keep hearing this but it doesn't explain the poor decision making, poor ball-handling, horrible shooting or the attitude. I get that he is being asked to score more than he is used to be that doesn't mean he has to pass up a spot up jumper to drive into the lane and fall down. At some point, he needs to be held accountable for his play and his decision making.

People can compare him to Shane all day long but at the end of the day one guy does what he can and does not try to do what he cannot. That's the difference that some people just are not grasping.

I just think we have a legitimate opportunity here to add two quality players to our lineup without nesecarily losing Brooks or Yao. Assuming your wing player comes via Tmacs contract and your big comes via Scola or Landry + Battier or Ariza

    Any combination of

Kevin Martin, Caron Butler or Andre Iguodala

    with

    Amare Stoudemire or Chris Bosh

In my opinion that is worth the luxury tax because that makes you into a contender.

    Brooks/Lowry
    Iggy/Taylor
    Battier/Budinger
    Amare/Scola/Hayes
    Yao/Dalembert/Andersen

    5: Yao/Dalembert
    4: Bosh/Hayes
    3: Landry/Battier/Budinger
    2: Igoudala/Ariza
    1: Brooks/Llull

Iggy is not a 2nd option. He is only good enough to be the 3rd option.
If Iggy was the 2nd option Lakers(Kobe, Gasol, Bynum,Odom),Spurs(Duncan,Parker,Ginobili), Heat(Wade, Shaq), Celtics(Pierce, Garnett, Allen, Rondo), and Pistons(Billups,Rasheed,Hamilton,Prince) during their playoff runs, they would not have made it.

If he was the Lakers' or Celtic's 2nd best option, they wouldn't have won a ring. Even you won't compare him to the championship teams best player, but you compare him to other 3rd options. He can't compare to the 2nd option for the Lakers, Celtics, Spurs, Pistons, or Heat.

Take away Pierce from the Celtics and give them Iggy and they don't get a ring.

The 76ers are trying to make a 3rd option into a 1st option, but they have only managed 13 wins for half the season. It's just not working, when their 1st option takes 40 minutes to get only 18 pts. It's a recipe for another 13 wins in the 2nd half.

I am watching the Philly v Mavs game now. Philly winning by 10 thus far thanks to their young players. Young is a stud.

Watching their young players play, I can tell you it is going to be hard to pry them in a trade for Tmac.

Young is a great young player and the one I really am hoping for if we did swing a deal with Philly.

Morey said that he wants a young talent player in any deal. Philly may not give us Darrius Young, but how about Speights?

I wonder why we would turn down a Iggy/Dalembert/Lou for T-mac/cook/lowry deal.could there be a better deal than this?

It's not the young player their after, it's to see what they'll swing for Bosh.
