Dalembert had 17 pts 12 rb and 3 blks...

Iguodala had 12 pts 10 rb, 7 ast, 3 stl & 2 blks(he did struggle from the field though)

Sure could have used both of these guy's tonight, against Miami..... :(

I dont see a Philly trade happening. At first I thought they didnt want any part of Dalembert's contract, but if Marc Spears & Yahoo are right, they also don't want any part of Iguodala's long term contract.

    WOULD NOT DO!!

The Juwan Howard curse would be transferred to the Rockets once again.

Screw that, I rather have Brian Cook as my first option.

He went to help with rescue efforts, and I saw that they expect him to play Wednesday against Portland.

I read somewhere DM is looking for a SG and a Center which they could've used against Bobcats and Heat. If that's the truth, why not pull the trigger on Iguodala and Dalembert ? Dalembert at least gives us a legit starting Center this year and a reliable one next year.

There's no way Bosh is going to take us to a contender next year because he's not that good and I rather have a good back-up Center and a true SG than a PF. We already have Scola and Landry and I see Landry replacing Scola next year as the starter or getting even more minutes.

Ariza and or Battier can then be traded for a good SF next year, with Budinger as a back-up and we have ourselves a contending team.

Next year it will look like this:

    Brooks, Lowry (& Conroy)
    Iguodala, JT + FA
Trade & Budinger (& Mike Harris)
    Scola, Landry
    Yao, Dalembert, Hayes & Dorsey

Nice lineup. But how do you resign Iguodala and Dalembert assuming Les doesn't want to get over LT that much?

The contract of Iguodala and Dalembert would put Rockets over LT before resign Scola and Lowry.

If the 76ers are offering Iggy/Dalembert I wish Daryl would pull the trigger. I don't think that your going to get a better offer than that, and if someone swoops in and takes them of Philly's hands that would suck. Realistically what better offer could we get? Dalembert is exactly what we need this year (shot blocker, rebounder, and a 7 footer) next year he will be a perfect back-up, and Iggy is icing on the cake......really, really, really good icing.

They will prolly go over the LT, but neither Iggy nor Dalmbert's contract expires this year. If we could get 1 expiring in this deal it would be nice.

Such a trade might force Morey to make an alternate move that ensures we don't have to worry about going over the luxury tax next year due to our power forwards. OR, that second move might involve Bosh, but I don't want to kill the first point by overreaching on the second.

Landry = good to go for next year. In 2011, he gets his new contract. And Dalembert can either go bye-bye or get signed to a contract commensurate to his abilities (i.e., much less than $12,000,000). IF he stays. Would he want to be an overpaid backup to Yao? Would we want him by then?

Or Morey could simply be working out that last detail to send Dalembert to a third team with or without other players to upgrade our 4 spot. Or get him off the books entirely.

All of this has to consider, What level of commitment are you going to get from the Haitian Sensation after what happened to his country last week?

Do you guys not understand this?

They want to unload both contracts.

You want AI, take both of the other UNWANTED contracts of their hands.

    Not either or.

Hmm, well then there's no way we do the trade.
