It's tough to part with Dorsey after he tore up the NBDL, but I think we get an adequate return. I think the real winner of this trade is Sacramento though. Cook can clog the middle and then pull out and make 30% of the threes he jacks up. Taylor will be a budding role player for the Sixers. As much as I hate to part with those guys, I feel like we would get better with this trade.

I think this is a pretty realistic trade.

Portland finally becomes the Defensive maven they've always wanted to be, New Orleans gets a lot of valuable depth, and Philly gets Tmac.

With all due respect, Juwan Howard? I don't want that stiff anywhere near the Rockets' roster.

A mere minor throw in to make contracts work.

Think of him as a familiar bench warmer for the remainder of the season.

First off before i let this pissing party go, the Rasho was gone years before scola was traded. Also, the rockets needed a pf more than the spurs needed to trade scola. I guess you can say they didn't see it coming, but the spurs are always ahead of the game like the lakers. Ferry dropping the ball in cleveland has as much to do with scola being here than anything if you can read. The spurs didn't have to trade scola and didn't have to allow him to come over and they play, they did it out of professionalism. as the spurs do also, they lumped him together with jackie butler's contract and turned and drafted tiago splitter 7ft dirk type of guy. The rocket got the better end of the deal, but the spurs want duncan to play pf and they like the horry/bonner 3pt spacers at the other spot it seems.

I still don't know how the durant v oden argument is in this. The blazer thought oden would have a bigger impact than durant. Durant has played well and up until now, none has equaled winning anything, but I give he guy his due. Oden has been injured for his time in the nba. They chose a guy that had major ijury issues early and that's what happened. That has nothing to do with trading the 8th pick for shane. The rockets needed to get younger, longer, more athletic, and wing scorer. It was evident by Tracy and Yao having to create all the offense for everyone. It was evident when stackhouse posted up every small guard. It was evident by the sheer fact tracy and yao were injured and the team was in the lotto. As a direct unsaid unsaid result, the rocket used draft picks and trades to get that guy or attempt to. This by no means Battier isn't a good player nor does it equal not making a trade, it merely means they didn't get enough and have been trying to compensate by trading picks away. I can't promise, nor can i read the future, but i highly doubt they would've pulled the artest trade or the ariza signing if the team had drafted gay or brewer. Think about how many picks regardless of how low they were are not on this team especially considering brooks was a low 1st and landry a 2nd. Not only that, if those guys showed any promise as they have early in their career, think about what you could get for them if that special player was availible. Look at what minny got for garnett at the time. They got jefferson, gomes, telfair, and greene. Basically all mid to late 1st rd picks for garnett. Thats what i always bring mention. Gay and Brewer are better than any wings we have on our team right now and are still younger than ariza. So youngster, you can say what you want and say i have black and white glasses on, thats cool, but like i've said many times before, we thought short term for no reason and it hurt us.

Poopsworld and Bill Ingram say Houston doesn't like Iguodala's long term deal.
