    I would much rather get Brand over Dalembert.

    Dalembert hasn't anchored anything for quite a while. It's no surprise that they want to get him off their hands. He has gotten lazy. DM hopefully won't make a mistake like that.

    The Philly fans think think he is overpaid also. I am surprised by the comments though. It seems to be 60/40 or 70/30 in favor of trading Iggy for T-Mac.

    I bet the Philadelphia 76ers are the ones floating trade scenarios to their local writer as an "inside" source, when they are the actual source. It's a way to gauge public opinion.

    Here are some of the philly fans in favor of trading Iggy.

    The Iggy is not always greener on the other side. Remember that.

    Giving up landry, then putting scola on the bench. May I have some of what you are smoking?

    Iggy=Ariza on roids

    Iggy=Ariza on roids

    We don't need a slightly stronger version of Ariza

    Not really.....

    Iggy is more like Scottie Pippen without the jump shot. I mean really. He's not really a capable of scorer but he's capable of impacting the game without scoring, so is Ariza. Iggy is much more effective on the fast break than he is in the half-court. Iggy is an underrated passer, he's a very effective passer, however he can't really run an offense like the way Scottie Pippen could. Iggy is just more effective on the break than he is on the half-court.

    Ariza is effective in both, he's just not that effective with the ball in his hands.

    I would give McGrady + 1st round pick + Cook for Andre and Dalmbert. Dalembert would be a solid center for us this year, and even more solid next year as a backup center to Yao. Even if we don't get any of the "young talent" Andre and Samuel are enough for me. Dalembert is only 28, and Andre Iguodala is only 25!! Pull the trigger pleeeeease!!!! With a lineup of:

    1. Andre
    2. Trevor
    3. Shane
    4. Chuck
    5. Dalmbert

    Would the opposing team even be able to score? Would we even be able to score? lol

    That's not at all true. Igoudala can create off the dribble way, way better than Ariza can and he's a much better ball handler. Plus overall I think he's also a better defender since he is just as quick and athletic as Ariza but can body up guys as well.

    Dude its a new year. Please don't send me to my grave early. That line-up would cause someone to get a heart attack

    Stronger yes
    Better Defender yes
    Better Scorer yes

    Long comparison short. Iguodola is wayyyyyyy better than Ariza. Ariza is soooo overrated defensively that it makes no sense. He is just long but time after time i still see guys getting by him

    Brooks and Iggy would be a great starting backcourt.

    sometimes i think some of you guys just look at the stat sheet after games, and then play with the trade machine.

    if you haven't watched a rocket game this year, you should be forced to say that before you propose a trade.

    what some of you guys just don't get is how much chemistry this squad has. i'd hate to see a trade that would remind me of horry and cassell for barkley.

    AB, Landry, Battier, Scola, Lowry, Buddinger -- they all stay.
