Dwight Howard was a free agent and Phillip Rivers is signed through 2016. What leverage does Rivers have to force a trade to Houston? You'd have to convince the Chargers organization, not to Rivers. If every team that doesn't have a realistic chance at winning the Super Bowl is going to trade their QB then let's get Aaron Rogers instead. He's the best QB in football and GB isn't going to win the Super Bowl any time soon.
