I don't think it'll happen, but if so, get this one done...

Lots of Juwan bashing in this thread.

Hey, when TMac went down & Yao was recovering, the offense went through Howard.

There's still gas left in the tank. Sure, he makes a big wad of cash, but he's a contributor. I don't think he deserves most of the bashing he's taking in this thread.

Yeah, even the best of us still have "2 years ago" contract hysteria going on. It's a post-Hakeem, Stevie-what? era that requires looking around at other teams and what they're doing.

Howard is what he is, but he's been important at times for us here and could be for any team not considered to be top-ten a great pick-up.

Wednesday night had better get here quick, or my head will explode.

If we land Roy, somebody put an e-mail flower on my grave, because I don't think anyone knows what's going to happen.

There might be gas left in the tank but the tractor has been left out in the yard too many days. Everything's rusted out.

Also, hasn't Atlanta's front office been getting crucified for the Boris Diaw fiasco? For them to do this would completely alienate the 25 fans that still show up for their games. I'm inclined to agree with you on this one.

As much as I like Luther, I rather have a legitimate starter in Roy/Gay/Thomas/Aldridge than 2 good role players. Come playoff time, teams go only 8 deep at best.

ummm, i think head would suffice enough. Plus, we're going to have a crappy ass bench if we keep trading away our only pieces. I'd rather have

Someone at #8, and head, unless we can unload Juwan's Professionalism.

Basically, keep head, trade Howard and his glasses.

I heard a rumor that the we will trade picks with the Hawks. Supposedly the plan is that the Hawks will draft Roy with the 5th pick & we will take Shelden Williams with the 8th pick & then send Williams and Head to the Hawks for Roy. Has anyone else heard that?

Maybe not. Norm Hitzges reported something similar this morning. His sources are telling him that the Rockets want Roy and want him badly and are looking to trade up to get him. Norm believes Roy to be the most NBA ready player in this draft and would be a perfect fit for the Rox at the 2. His agent is also TMac's agent for what it's worth.

Oh don't get me wrong. I want Luther to stay on the team. I think he can blossom into a great 6th man. But if Roy is as good as he's being hyped, "you gotta let give before you can get" i guess..

Unfortunately I must work overtime which limits my abilities to read every single thread and I just saw Howard on this one and decided to comment on it. :D

    LOL!

This is one of Juwan's strong points.
Look what he got for his last teams:

    Orlando: Dwight Howard
    Denver: Carmelo
    Rockets: ?????
