Jackson, who is taking in the Australian Open, stopped by the ESPN set at the tournament in Melbourne to do a sit-down interview with Chris Fowler. Jackson was non-commital about a comeback, but didn't rule it out, either. Jackson had intimated before Lenny Wilkens' resignation that he would be interested in coaching the Knicks, the team for which he played in the late-1960s through much of the 1970s. "What I did say [is that] I'd have to listen if they came and talked," Jackson told Fowler. "I'd have to listen to them, but that's not saying I'd be ready to coach." I would love to, but nothing is going to happen until the offseason. While PJ would listen to the Knicks, I don't think he would take a job during the season. His triangle offense is very complicated and would have trouble trying to implement it in all in the busy NBA schedule, where there isn't much time to practice.
I really wanted PJ to come to houston, even though I hated him. BUt ehhhh. I don't know anymore. I love our players. If our roll players can step upp. I really love our chances of being a good team. We have been great since our terrible start. Go Rockets!
