Damn you guys are insane. Wall has been on a tear since March. His average was 23/5/8 with less than 3 TOs and a respectable ~45% shooting in the last 25 games. Those are Linsanity numbers. I am a Lin but I don't think he can put up those number even with Wall's usage rate.
Walls sample is small, just like Lins was last year. Everybody said Lin had to prove it over a full season & he pretty much did. Let Wall do the same next year.

Sample size of Linsanity has never been small to a lot of crazy Lin fans, lol. Wall is averaging 18.4/4/7.7 with 44.3% shooting. Considering the injury he had, I would say these are pretty good numbers. I guess my point is that Lin is not the only good young player out there. There is no need to get defensive whenever another good young PG being brought up.
Weird that we need to discuss if he is worth to have a phantom video or not.... can't we just be happy that we have one of our guys there? can't we just appreciate that damn video?
it's nice a #1 draft pick is being compared to lin as well. im pretty sure lin will get better (and of course wall too) but i believe shooting-wise lin will have the advantage.
I am not talking about the Lin fans though. I am talking about the skeptics who said small sample & there were a lot many on CF. Nothing wrong with that. All I am saying is that just like Lin had to prove himself over an entire season so does Wall. Prior to this 25 game sample what has Wall shown? He shot 7% from 3 for an entire year & people were calling him a bust, NBA coaches & MJ's agents put him on blast. Credit to Wall he stepped his game up. Just like I thought Lin would prove that he was the real deal, I know Wall can do the same. But the jury is still out until next year. Also we all know Wall is going to get that max extension. That is all.
I think if Lin were on the Wizards team, he would be given a free reign also and his stats would likely look better. If Wall were playing along side Harden, he wouldn't have the freedom he is enjoying now.

Wall wouldn't even survive the spot up shooting role. Toney Douglas would have started over him for half the season.
Lol, even Phantom is thinking there is something going between Lin and Parsons, the entire highlights other than showing Lin finished, have Lin making 2 assist to Parsons as well as 1 Parson assist to Lin. But then again, no clips of the breakaway dunk? Or even some alley hoop passes?

umm... those are Linsanity numbers because he DID put up those numbers with wall's usage rate. the small sample size argument should be brought up when talking about wall as well but it isn't. why? because ever since he was drafted #1, this is what people have expected out of him. when it's unexpected, it's a fluke. when expected, it's a confirmation.
