    Hmm,
    looks like he's

    posting up
    taking people off the dribble
    dunking
    passing
    rebounding
    shooting the 3s.

But you wouldnt know that cause you arent watch this series

Are the Rockets still hoping Malick Badiane can compete in the NBA?

How is the guy progressing with his game? He's supposed to be an athletic shot blocker with that long wingspan.

And is Malick interested in joining Tracy McGrady and the rest of the Rockets?

there is a reason tim thomas got his reputation, hes actually trying with the suns in the playoffs because they gave him a second chance, if he played an 82 game season hed have 1 good game every 3 or 4 when he tries

he's having another great series. taking the ball to the hole, playing defense, shooting 3s, posting up, passing.

he's changed his rep. because he was with the KNICKS, his rep was bad.

Tim Thomas is a tall Derek Anderson. Charmin (toilet paper) soft and no heart.

He is a not as good as Stromile Swift, Stromile Swift type player. SS would be a stud playing for D' Antoni and with Steve Nash.

    the big question is sustianability
    can he?
his history says something contrary to his present

    Excellent must be sustained
    over time
doing what he doing for 4 wks is one thing
    over 6 months
    is another

iT's probably been said, but Thomas just plays for contracts, has no sense of professionalism, and lacks heart.RR stated above that he won't sustain it and I agree.Thomas IS Iron Pyrite.

I agree. and u cant forget the rebounding, strength, size, post-up ability.. the dude is great.. He satisfies my demands of a strong, good rebounding PF and also satisfies Gundy's "shooting 4"..

Tim Thomas can also steal the ball.
    Juwan can steal sunglasses.

We've watched Thomas's act for years...A leopard doesn't change his spots.

you mean score over 100 pts each game? and make outside shots?
wow, that must be cool. i thought basketball was a game that people are suppose to shoot in the 30% and score in the 70s and your team goes to the lotto and your powerforward steal sunglasses cause he thought they were the tom cruise top gun ray bans.

Everything you have said about Tim Thomas in this thread is good and fair.

But it seems like you are missing (or not listening) the point of others.

Tim has a bad history in the NBA and if you are a good businessman that is what you look at in order to make a sound decision. If He would take $1M per year from us why not? That would be a low risk venture. Okay we can up it to $2.5M. If you are not worried about Thomas' past then you are being disingenuous.
