Tim Thomas is so so tantalizing every time his contract comes up...but it is a "fool me once, fool me twice" situation with him. He's certainly not afraid to take and make big shots...but he could bail on a team at any moment.
I didn't know letting your guy score 50 points in a playoff game is D-ing up nor do I think trash talking while doing so is anything positive. But Thomas did play very well tonight I must admit, he hit a ton of wide open threes. I wouldn't mind bringing him in to play SF, but I'm sure some team will overpay him if he doesn't return to the Suns.
dirk has got certain refs in his pocket so you can't totally discredit thomas's defense. but there is no way any decent player will take what we can offer anyway.
