and you'll never here the media talk about it. but that's not even the point, are these guys paying attention to what brady has done these first three games with a real receiver.

he has a freaking 141 rating with 10 tds and 1 pick. This isn't even close.

Brady may have more Super Bowl wins, but coming out of college over over the period of their careers I would take Manning.

Brady looks great with Moss, and he is great....Cunningham, George, and Culipepper put up ridiculous numbers with Randy Moss. Culipepper had season where he was right on Manning's tail with until Manning just slid away.

Manning has been one of the best QBs in the world since he played at Tennessee. He has very strong arm, very accurate, explosive thrower, and he's about the best I've ever seen at reading defenses and making audibles. He can manage a game, make big throws, and even gun-sling his team back into the game (without making costly mistakes) if they fall behind. And almost consensus #1 choice.

I don't think Manning would drop off very much with inferior receivers in fact he has made inferior WRs into an actual threat. Another freakish stat for Manning is he hasn't thrown over 10 ints, since 2002. The 49 touchdowns was unrealistic...i don't care who your receivers are that's almost 50 tds with over an average of 3 tds a game.

Brady is good at all of these things, but I don't think has quite same skill as Manning. And he's had the benefit of having a coach who is a defensive mastermind.

brady won the superbowl his first season taking over, do you think that team was going to win with drew bledsoe.

and marvin harrison was great before manning, who was the best brady had before moss? branch

who can handle pressure better, did you see the pittsburg game in 05

and all manning has is tony dungy, btw, the real person who took that team to a championship. he built a super bowl contender in tampa bay, that won the next year after he left.

The cooler headed QBs seem to win as much as the play barking, hot head loud voiced QBs. Joe Montana and Troy Aikman were just as effective and won as many big games as John Elway or Dan Marino. Same with Brady and Manning, so I'd go with Tom Brady here.. Would be very interesting to see the outcome of a fantasy scenario where Manning came up in N.E. and Brady was in Indy though...

No I wouldnt chose Aikman over Marino or Elway (who might be the all-time best with Montana) based on raw talent or wonderlic  ...but if its going with the examples already set and case studies and building a team, like the basketball theory that says drafting big over small generally leads to more success, I'd have to go cool and confident with a bit of edge over the cocky fiery lead figure.

QB is one of the most difficult positions to project, so the who would you choice at QB question is always interesting.

wow Manning, period.. can't believe it's a question. Watching him play is just sweet.. even if I hope for them to lose pretty much every week. Always makes great calls at the line, which you can't do (at least not too much) with the help of coaches. Everyone knows about his complex audible/hot route system and no-huddle ability.. He's won some big games now. Yeah, him.

Well, it depends on the situation. Is this a "fantasy" draft where my team is likely to be at least average with a good shot at the playoffs? If so, Tom Brady's my pick. Brady in the playoffs have been amazing and rarely gets flustered. Manning has looked horrible many times in the playoffs when the pressure gets to him.

On the other hand, if we're talking about having the #1 pick as an expansion team, Manning is the guy. He has a quick release, reads the defense, and in general does more than Brady to help his teammates. His style is also less prone to sacks.

Brady. He's w/ a supermodel and a hot actress had his baby.

If you were Brady's wingman at a bar you'd still get top shelf quality.

    Brady easily.

Manning finally got the monkey off his back but that still doesn't change that he's been a choker for most of his career.

I would go with Brady. It seems he has done more with less on offense, until now but he is doing more with more on offense.
