In a way, it would be fun. Making the Titans game extra spicy is always a welcome idea. I just don't want to invite disaster.
arizona would be great. however i'd like us to be the team that permanently retires manning so the tacks isn't so bad. wade will dial it up for manning.
Look on the bright side, now the Texans' super bowl won't be crowned illegitimate because "peyton left the divison".
At this point I don't care if t*** get him, texans are the class of the south no matter what happens.
The titans can have him for all I care. We already know they can't handle the Texans league leading defense nor can they handle the Texans offense. Won't be a threat to the Texans whatsoever.
While we, as Texans fans, don't want to have to play one of the best QBs every twice a year, I'm not worried. Still, AZ please!
I guess you can't spend seven decades cutting million-dollar deals in sports and business without knowing how to make a great first impression, and Adams is a lot more hands off than he used to be, but karmically speaking part of me hopes Mr. Manning sees in Kenneth Stanley whatever Landry saw that made him go to Dallas instead.
When Miami traded Brandon Marshall, they gave up on Manning IMO. I am betting Tennesee...I hope they spend big money on him and he does nothing for them but throw picks.
False. They actually did that to increase their chances of getting Manning. Manning made it clear that he didn't like the personality of the Dolphins locker room, which started with Marshall, so they immediately shipped Marshall out. My guess is that they were also expecting Wayne to follow Manning, especially with his U roots, but alas that didn't work out. I would agree that they probably have the smallest chance of getting Manning, but their defense & offensive line are pretty stout. Signing Manning and drafting a WR or 2 (maybe trade up to nab Blackmon?) could be a solid move for that organization.
Matt Flynn is visiting the Dolphins over the weekend. Maybe they realize Manning isn't coming. http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/03/16/2696474/miami-dolphins-out-of-running.html
