I don't have a problem with Clyde, I find him entertaining even when he doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm also tired of seeing a new thread everyday talking about how Clyde sucks as an announcer.
I dont much care for Clyde , Bullard or Calvin as comentators .... Give me Gene Peterson, and Jim Foley .... How sweet it is.
You know it's bad when you'd rather watch the other team's tv feed for their commentators when Clyde's on.
'You think!?.' 'But ya gotta love it.' Ugh. Everything else he says sounds like a cheesy one-liner from a Suit Mart commercial. If Les had any business sense, he'd swallow his pride and rehire His suits were more entertaining than Clyde (ur a great guy, but sorry 22!)
You know it's bad when you would rather watch the other team! Seriously Clyde is the best thing we got going in some of these games. At least we can reminisce on better days. I give him credit for at least trying to make the game entertaining. Unless your the other team nothing Clyde can do to make last nights game entertaining.
I actually like Clyde compared to other teams home announcers. He's very smooth and unforced on commentary, and I like how he mixes up analysis with humor. Also has great chemistry w/ Bill. Petition, No Thanks.
Haha what chemistry ?? Did you not watch last night's game ? You could clearly hear Bill's frustration (sighs, clearing of throat, silences) with him and even mocked him. Also, smooth and unforced ?? Almost everything he says sounds forced, as if he doesn't really know what to say. He sounds nervous and for a great player he offers zero insight, none. He's actually doing what Bill is doing. Even Bullard seems to have more basketball knowledge.
Bill's talents are going to waste. He sets up Clyde with fantastic softballs and segways for him to riff and give analysis, and Clyde does nothing with it. Would love to get Robert Horry or Sam Cassell

It was a bad loss...Clyde's lack on personality isn't the reason we couldn't pull it together. We have it good compared to some other teams. I used to have to listen to the DENVER announcers all the time. I swear, if I had the chance to tell Scott Hastings how biased and idiotic he is, I would, Then, I'd ask him why he's qualified to be in the booth. His career was...non-existent.
