Petition to remove Clyde from the booth

    We all respect good basketball players, Clyde is a great player no doubt about it. He also suffers from a generalized health disorder called mental r****dation. Now that is no laughing matter have you, but tell me why we continue to sit back and watch as this poor soul embarasses himself and the Houston Rockets organization night in and night out. Does one believe that the recent television ratings drop is due to the fact that our team has no stars? Clyde has removed all doubt about his mental status by mindless comments and lack of basketball knowledge during our broadcasts. I write this tonight for us my friends, and for the future viewers of Houston Rocket broadcasts. Let your voice be heard and sign this petition.

    I don't like when a Rockets' player is fouled and Clyde "Dumbass" Drexler takes a quick look and goes, "Oh, I don't know man, looks like he got ALL BALL". Then on the replay when he gets embarrassed he pretends he made the right call: "Oh yeah, that's obviously a foul. Right on the arm!"

    LIKE WTF?

    I keep saying this, but I was shocked by how much I wished League Pass had the opposing team's announcers tonight. Clyde's crappiness has so totally pushed me over the edge that not even Bill is enough to make up for it..

    And that condition is that his permanent replacement is Calvin Murphy.

    Having watched the Rockets since 1993, I can say that Bill and Calvin were phenomenal together.

    I love Clyde, he's my hero as a player and he's a fantastic guy.

    But I think he's had his fun, he hasn't gotten much better over the years, we should probably get a color man who's more of a consummate professional.

    My favorite quote of the night, "All they do under Kevin McHale is win". This is when they were down 8 points in the 4th quarter coming off a humiliating loss in Utah 24 hours earlier.
