My apologies to all of you who could care less, but is it amazing to anyone else that Petey is finally calling it quits? The SacBee says that Terry Porter will likely replace him as an assistant coach. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now my hometown team's #1 assistant is "Mr. Magoo" John Wetzel! DAMMIT! In all seriousness, though, I really think that Carril was just as much responsible for the stellar coaching of this past season as Adelman was. Adelman won't have that trusted voice of wisdom next season. Carril will be dearly missed by players, coaches, and fans alike. By the way, here's the article (All the way at the bottom! Pete carril is the best. Definitely one of the most underrated coaches of all-time. Have you noticed that he always looks like he's in pain while he's coaching. Maybe now he can just relax and enjoy his retirement.
