Once, we believed African Americans to be "animals" who could not think or reason. Once, we believed the world was flat and the center of the universe. Once, we believed that hard surfaces are actually hard until we saw under a microscope that their elements are furiously vibrating. Once, we thought the best way to cure disease was to drain our blood. Many wild theories have been justified because it suited our needs. This is no different. Our skills at defining things and categorizing them is dependant solely on the tools with which we measure them. Those tools are still evolving like the rest of us. Just 30 years ago, most believed that computers would fill entire rooms rather than a desktop or a briefcase. By limiting your thinking, you are doing a great disservice to not only yourself but the world around you. As for reincarnation being silly, well that is a subjective response. As I said, it is my "belief". I cannot prove it any more than I can prove any belief. That is why it is a belief based on faith rather than a fact based on proof. By labeling my beliefs as illogical and silly, you not only dishonor my beliefs, you demonstrate your own lack of logical reasoning by believing you know all the answers. The last time I checked, none of us had all the answers. Bobby, I respect your opinion and you have a right to say what you feel, but it doesn't serve your purpose to post how ridiculous I am based on my beliefs and your "facts."
