When I was teaching at this one place, almost all the teachers in the teachers room would talk about how their r****ded (not literally) students would ask these stupid questions as pet peeves. Needless to say the students there made horrible grades. The teachers hated the students and laughed at their stupidity. I got the **** out as soon as possibly and looked for another yob. /irrelevant story
1. People who are consistently late. Punctuality is a sign of respect. 2. Tracy McGrady. 3. Scottie Pippen. 4. Unnecessary, detailed tangents in stories. 5. Lay's potato chips. I hate that I can't eat just one. 6. When waiters/waitresses are super chatty. 7. People who say "thank you much". 8. Homebodies. 9. People who order an expensive steak well-done. 10. Insincerity. I can easily continue, but I'll stop here. It would be a much shorter list if I listed the things that didn't bother me.
I'm about a month into the post-college working world, and there is already something that I know I will hate. People who ALWAYS talk on speakerphone. Now, I understand that sometimes it is necessary to have both hands free while you are talking. However, if you are just sitting at your desk, why don't you just put the darn phone to your ear so the rest of the office doesn't have to hear your conversation? Is there some explanation for this that I am missing?
People who hold unnecessary cell phone conversations in the passenger's seat. The driver is forced to turn down the stereo and listen to your lame bantering....thereby being a captive in his own vehicle.
the woman at lakewood church yesterday morning who sounded like borat and kept repeating osteen's phrases LOUDLY right after he said them, and then shouted a 10 minute prayer in tongues towards the end of the service....ugh, i wanted to smack her, as horrible as that sounds. my teeth were clenched together for the whole 2 hours.
I'm really sick of seeing "Lock if posted..." in the OP of almost every thread with a link to an article. Do you really think the mods need your permission to lock it? If it's already been posted, it will be locked regardless.
People who take 100 items through the express checkout lines! (10 items or less you ass!) Parents of college-aged kids who still want to do every freaking thing for them (Let them freaking grow up, it's part of college!) College students who wait till the last minutes to do everything and then get mad at you because they have run out of time (Can you tell it is the first day of classes? :grin Cheaters on video games (Annoying more than anything else.)
Yeah, that. I was also rather disappointed that it took 3 replies before someone noticed, and even then most still seemed rather oblivious.
1. When people break your concentration to talk about themselves... as if you were not doing anything. 2. When people give it up to the law before they look to common sense and reason. 3. When motorist are reckless dicks to bicyclist while on the road, no matter the reason. 4. Again, EXCESSIVE packaging, why corporations, why?
People who are soooo slow in the self check line at the grocery store. You should have to take a timed test to qualify to be able to use that lane.
