I agree, but one of my pet peeves with fans, sports writers, athletes, sportscasters, etc is that they make comments implying that had one call or event gone the other way, everything would have continued the same. The biggest example is after a guy is thrown out trying to steal in baseball and the batter then jacks a home run. Announcers (except for Jon Miller) bemoan the fact that the caught stealing or pickoff or whatever, cost them a run, never mentioning the fact that the pitcher is now pitching totally different then he did with a man on base. Unless it's the last play of a game, changing a call or event will invariably change the course of events.
