Perry's Steak House - Anyone been?

    Yeah, I like it too, but my wife is not into sushi......and honestly as good as it is...it is not worth the price.

    I have had better sushi in San Fran, and surprisingly Raleigh Durham....

    Uchi is eclectic, and fits into Fatty's keep Austin weird thingy, but overall, I don't think it is worth the price of admission....still good, just overpriced, IMO.

    Perry's is a nice place for a Anniversary. I also went to the one in Houston (Champions) Dark setting and relaxed atmosphere. Of course im guessing price isnt an issue so go for it, I'm sure your wife and you will both enjoy your time there. And the dessert clutch mentioned is great!!

    my preference is Brenner's locally....but Perry's is good.

    I just went to Uchi for the first time last week when I was in Austin. I liked it, would go back.

    I've been to Perry's several times here in Houston. I think it's a good steakhouse. Not super fine dining, but nicer than going to an Outback or Saltgrass. I highly recommend that you get the pork chop.
