Do you really believe the democratic party elites are really that much different? I don't. Same beast, different skin, IMHO.

In hindsight, it sure looks like a good call by the Gov to refuse the stimulus funds.

Amen to this, I would rep you if I could. When are people going to realize the answer to most four problems is to decrease the size of the government not take all this watered-down money to expand the federal governments powers?

Then why didn't wall street refuse the bailout, since they are all about small government.

Is our state economy in trouble? Rick doesn't seem to be cutting back on the hair product, so I imagine we're running a pretty solid surplus right now.

It's not really brilliant, it's surprisingly basic: Most conventional theory tells us that the best way to prevent collapse in a downturn caused by a slump in spending is not to gut spending further, as that in fact would have the opposite effect.

It's pretty logical, you could probably understand it if you wanted to, but you don't, so there's not much point in attempting to explain it further.

Regardless we have nothing to lose if we accept. :/

I was really just cracking on Rick Perry as opposed to commenting on the refusal/acceptance of funds.

I'm not saying we shouldn't spend, of course there needs to be more spending. I'm just wary of all the stipulations that come with taking government money and increasing the size of government.

Thanks again for the condescending reply though, I should just quit school.
