Well obviously they got to bring in some change around Harden and Westbrook. This means spending money on good free agents. I mean if you dont then you start looking for ways to rebuild. I mean unless this is like i said all about Money for Tilman, with China, and not about Getting better. Thats why you get fans like us proposing trades to either get better around James, or blow up the team lol.

But heck if its all about Jersey's, Adidas, Socks, Chinese likes, and show boating then yea who cares for 3 more years. But in the future you got no draft picks, and alot of bitter fans talking about how the rockets blow, and wasted years with Harden. Bitter Houston fans are the worst when it comes to Sports lol. Atleast the Astros rebuilt properly after Berkman, Hunter Pence and Oswalt :) They all got a chance at a Championship series, Harden looks like he didnt.

Thank you. I appreciate you sharing that. Everything in the media about the Rockets stinks lately. I really feel like someone has a vendetta. Harden being repped by his mom kind of hurts his ability to control his narrative.

Oh snap, I choose to believe the D&D admin now instead of Clutchfans and Perkins.

    Thought it was for real.

But I stand by my sentiment about Tilman.

Rafael better work on getting something really good to great for Westbrook and Harden otherwise they will just ride it out here until it gets to a point where they are literally just names. Even if traded Harden and Westbrook still have to submit to a championship style of play and philosophy... see everyone keeps ignoring that. Man it takes the necessary sacrifices... doing things you just gotta do especially on defense. It's not just one play it's a collection of consistent championship caliber plays and honestly if these guys don't latch on to another championship star player that does this it's going to be hard for them to get a ring anywhere. Now Tillman he is his own separate mess. As businessman he was hoping the basketball people could just do their jobs within his budget and luck into a championship. Now that he sees it's not happening he's going to "I know what I know and I know what I don't know" mode and his actions outside of that are F everyone else.

He has a GREAT shot at a ring with any of those places. Although Kyrie would be troublesome

I wish I could hear the Eric Gordon talk with other teams. Any interest? If so which team?

McLemore is a non guaranteed contract amount this season. Not sure at what date it becomes guaranteed. Covid has
    changed dates of many deadlines.

Gerald Green / Houston interest in re-signing makes McLemore somewhat expendable .....options.

I like Tucker. You know me, I preach more, more, more small forwards. Interchangeable parts for 3 & D switchable
defense. Why should I look for a high priced Kelly Oubre or Otto Porter when we have one of the best priced
small forwards in Tucker. Tucker at under $8 M is a steal compared to $15 M SF going rate. House as backup
with David Nwaba makes for good backups.

Lakers with LeBron or AD getting the gravity of the defense would open up House to slash to basket or creep along
the baseline. His athleticism near the basket could provide the Lakers some easy thunder dunks plus the foul.
His 36% (3-pt) shooting works for most teams. LeBron would rekindle the D-Wade to LeBron lobs and
vice-versa; only it would be LeBron to House lobs and vice-versa. LeBron would turn House into an 11 point
scorer per game with Houston to a 17 point scorer per game with Lakers, when you count dives to basket and FT’s.
Why not get that with Silas offense incorporating House to do the same? Unless we (Rockets) need to add House
as sweetener to Eric Gordon trade.

My plan would be to go after Ibaka (possibly at discounted rate using MLE) or Noel with low cost big man like
JaVale MeGee or WCS to use all their fouls on hacking those bigs that have a low post game. Make them work.

Go back to man to man defense with going under the screens. Encourage those less efficient mid range shots vs
fighting over the top of screens and possibly giving up drives to the basket. With exception of Golden State Warriors
play man to man. Warriors are the only team that can kill you with two dead eye quick release shooters
in Klay and Curry. Man up against the rest.

IMO, teams that invest so much of their team salary on a true big center tend to not have money for the talent around
them to go deep into the playoffs. AD is an exception; but Dwight Howard and JaVale MeGee are examples of big
Centers that had to come out vs small ball teams in the playoffs. Teams should spend cheap on those disposable
big men. Again just my opinion. Giannis, Ben Simmons, Adebayo, Siakim, Durant, Ibaka (if younger) types should
get top dollar because they are the NBA version of every down back of the NFL. Leave them in on running downs
(when NBA teams play big low post centers) and leave them in on passing downs (when teams insert Small Ball Centers).

I'm kind of feeling there's some truth to Perkins and his comments, but also some embelishment. I'm sure James was/is disappointed or even pissed, but to not even talk to Silas? Maybe initially? If it really is this bad, I'm going to go back to my belief the team needs to be blown up whenever the best advantage presents itself because I don't want teams dangling chicken mcnuggets in front of us as trade bait because we waited too long or he got injured or his skills dipped. And if it really is as bad as Perk says, how on earth can you go into a season with players that won't even talk to the coach?

There are a lot of assumptions being made here, and none of us really know what's going on. Time will reveal. I'm hoping to see a pic of Silas and Harden laughing it up or something. I really wanted to see what Silas can do with Russ and Harden, too.

Gotta admit many an ankle would be disintegrated with that backcourt.

I love both of these guys but they should never have a say in ops. Win a chip first and maybe you get to be LeGM but not before.

Lol I think it’s safe to say a lot of people care.

I’m sure deep inside Durant cares too about how everything went down. I mean, he got his chips but look where he is now, trying to re-write his legacy of being a snake.

All I’m saying is I’d care if he ended up in the warriors out of all places :/

Media firestorm was predictable when Morey left. If Russ wants outs fine.

Also, Shams reporting Harden is committed to the Rockets and locked in for this upcoming season, so suck it.

And learn some Rockets history all you teenage newbs.

Note the wording. If he were to request? Lol What is NBA Central anyway? These are highly targeted PR stunts trying to let Harden know he has options. Even if Harden was not answering it still don't mean anything until he actually ask for for "out". Stars have done it publicly and when done it private team acknowledge the request. This seems to be speculation. I think to take this as gospel with so many team wanting out players and wishing to break up this highly completive team would be very naïve indeed.

If true, they can have him. At least Rockets know how to defend him when they play against him. Double him at half court and get in his head.

Landry’s is off the menu for me. Never again.
