His career averages are quite good considering the era. For example his 22 ppg in the 93-94 season was good for 8th best in the league. It’s not really about his numbers even though he filled the stat box. If you saw him play like actually saw him play and not just old highlights you would know.

How did he do as a lead guy? About as good as he could have done. Lead the team in points, rebounds and assists during the 93-94 season and led the Bulls to the conference semis before eventually losing to the Knicks in 7. You know… the same Knicks that went to the Finals and nearly beat the Rockets.

What kind of question is that anyways? MJ and Scottie was the greatest 1-2 punch ever. They needed each other. Were you expecting Scottie to win a ring without MJ as the lead guy? Do you think MJ could’ve won his rings without Scottie?

I hated Pippen as much as the next guy for what he did or should I say lack of what he did here but I’m not going to let my anger short him of how great he actually was in his prime. That’s part of the reason why Rockets fans are so mad cause they had extremely high expectations and he underdelivered. He was no spring chicken either when he got here at 33. Plus teams need time to gel. He was thrown into the mix in a shortened season.

Pippen been getting slammed lately and maybe rightfully so? Maybe not? Either way there’s different perspectives and the truth lies somewhere in between.

LOL, how dumb are some of y'all to believe this is real? The reactions are the funnier than the fake article, which isn't actually all that funny.

This man's greatest moment was dunking on a guy in a playoff series he lost.

It was the 2nd best dunk of all time, but still.

If you look at the numbers, Chuck was the best player on that team, Hakeem was still second, and Pippen was somewhere in the 3 to 6 range. No matter what Scottie thought about his "dedication", Barkley was the one carrying the team and Snottie was a drag.

The fact that many people had to question the authenticity rather than outright say it’s bullshit really speaks to the character of Scottie Pippen more than the posters who believed it. There’s a handful of people you can attribute that kind of delusion to and Pippen is one of them.
