The title of this thread is excellent, separate and apart from the rest of the thread. People who believe that "perception is reality" are morons. They are dumb people who apparently cannot think for themselves and do not have a clue. Reality is reality and people's uninformed perceptions are frequently far removed from reality.
Perception - Mario Williams was a bust from day one, because the Texan's did not choose Reggie Bush with the #1 overall draft pick in April 2006. Reality - Mario Williams was the right choice. Anyone who was paying attention past the "perceptions" promoted by the mains-stream media could have easily known that all along.
the problem is this team has more talent, depth and versatility. exactly. eality is despite the "2 huge wins" of late, rockets still don't look very good.
as long as it adds up to wins, i don't care how it happens. there's no stat for energy, hustle and passion, and that's what i think you can trace everything back to...but now that they look to have started turning a corner in that category, the wins are starting to follow.
