I put Harden 2nd behind Lin in the MIP ranking.

Harden was already good, but now he's really emerged as a KEY FORCE in the Thunder's success. He went from being a good bench guy to their "Joe Johnson"

I think he's a force but saying he's a key force is a bit much.

Believe it or not, the one guy here who called Harden a bust also said he was the same player as Thabo. Some people just can't help themselves. This is what happens when you know everything about stat lines and nothing about basketball.

If that person thought Thabo and Harden were similar players, I doubt that they know anything least of all everything about stats lol. Harden and Thabo are two of the least statistically similar guards in the NBA.

He said it last year or the year before. Still, all you had to do was WATCH one or two OKC games to know the statement was absurd. This guy obviously hadn't seen any OKC games but felt comfortable debating as if knowledgeable. Somebody here revived the thread a few weeks back.

Harden won't win MIP as he was quite good last year aswell. But I do think he's a serious contender for the 6th man award.

And about statistics, I find Sefolosha's even more impressve, it's vice verca but even more extreme:

Stat ON Court OFF Court Net
    Offense: Pts per 100 Poss. 98.9 114.2 15.3
    Defense: Pts per 100 Poss. 89.5 108.9 -19.4
    Net Points per 100 Possessions +9.5 +5.4 +4.1
