more than likely his pride got hurt on that missed reverse dunk attempt. if he had made a layup instead we wouldn't be reading this. it's typical t-mac looking for an excuse.
When he got Horace Grant kicked out of Orlando for questioning his defense? When he willfully quit on the Magic and forced himself out? When he openly quit in several games this year? When he decided that he was going to quit driving and dishing so that he could concentrate being a black hole on the perimeter? When he decided he only had to play on one end of the court? If you think he's been "doing his best" this season, you must be a blood relative. A facilitator creates opportunities for others - he's been the exact opposite this year. There was nearly a 10 point swing in January in our scoring with and without McGrady; pretty odd that the team had an easier time scoring without their top "playmaker"... Keep on cutting and pasting from McGrady's press conference excuses. Every single doctor that's been involved saw things very differently. He had rehab assignments in the summer, didn't give them proper attention, and discovered his strength and conditioning wasn't there. What do you think people expect from him? Do you think anyone's mad because he's not averaging 20-6-6? Or is expecting him to play at least below-average defense (versus completely absent) too much in your opinion? Like 40 weeks worth of time? Or should we treat flushing out a knee with the same timetable as microfracture surgery? I'm sure there's a possibility he could be. The team, minus Tracy and Artest, proved your point last month. Except for one man being able to muck it all up. Please do.
This the thing several Chinese reporters close to Yao have been talking about. I did not believe that theory, but, right now I am buying....
I can relate to that. But, did you ever get the feeling before he was traded that he needed to go for the team to improve? I did, and it made me sad.
i hate to say it but tracy=grant hill, i think he should just accept hes never going to be the same player and accept a role like grant and put up decent numbers. The only difference is grant is shooting well above 50% but if tracy realizes hes not the same guy and takes better shots he could be just like grant. Its amazing that after all those surgeries and at the age of 36 grant still jumps out of the gym. I don't think we have any chance at all to get out of the first round with the way tracy is playing, he needs to get healthy. I have a strong feeling this is the tmac that we will have the rest of the season. I keep hearing he'll be back but when?? it's almost allstar break and hes been the same guy all season
That sounds like good news to me. Hopefully he doesn't play, its not like he's been helping us win games.
You got to be kidding me... He said it is mental...and MRI now... but If you ask me, I don't really CARE. T-Mac is TMac, he doesn't care so I don't care either. Btw is it a sure thing? Chron hasn't said anything about that.
That's probably my loyalty being a fault. I always want a Rocket to succeed. Even then they are down, I always hope they will turn it around. For me, I always seem to latch on to one player when supporting the home team. They are the face of the franchise for that "era." So I'll usually pull for them until the next face comes along.
There is always an excuse with him...especially after a sucky game...its geting embarrasing! He probably wants something bad revealed on the MRI just so he can use it as an excuse...he's lucky he's playing in Houston where fans dont' generally boo their stars.
that has been my claim for some time now. he is the captain of our team only by letter only. he is definitely not a leader and doesn't have the ability to push a team to its limits like MJ or Bird did.
