    no one knows what will happen between now and tomorrow at this time, the news in the fact that McHale is telling the media this, whether he is blowing smoke or not.

    Generally the coach says that he isn't involved in trades and that you would have to ask Daryl. Here he is straight up saying, no moves.

    He said "I'd be shocked" if a trade happens, which leave open the possibility that a trade can happen.

    McHale used to be more than a coach. He was head of operations up there. So I think he knows to downplay anything that might be in the works. Rockets always downplay.

    Leaks can derail trades. These guys know it.

    When I first heard this I was thinking how stupid for McHale to make a statement like that knowing Morey's history. He must feel real stupid right now.
