Ya, I no longer believe in the legend of Doc Rocket. It's non-sensical that he posts his rumors 1 month before the deadline and nothing just before the day. That said, I am wondering if we see a Doc Rocket post today or tomorrow, just for kicks.

 

Morey is operating at a level of smoke screenception that none of us can even comprehend. He is like 5 levels in.

I have always taken Mchale for a staright shooter regardless....just doesnt seem like he would Lie upfront like that.........NOW with that being said he may not be aware at the moment, per say, but as of now I believe him.

 

I don't think a trade is coming. Not necessarily because of McHale/Morey's consistent comments stating so but also because it doesn't really make sense to make a trade right now unless the Lakers miraculously decide to trade Dwight in the next 24 hours. We have our star now. We acquired that star by being patient and opportunistic in trades and through the draft. Morey should apply that same strategy into acquiring Harden's future partner in crime. If we do make a trade I'd expect it to be for a draft pick or expiring contract. We've become a much more attractive free agent landing spot since The Beard's arrival and I think that's Morey's plan to advance this roster. Maintain cap flexibility until the next big star hits the open market and aggressively pursue him.

FWIW, I have a photo of the Taj on my wall (taken by me) from almost the exact same spot. Mine's better. As for McHale's comments, they're meaningless.
