Maybe he moved the date of the MRI or something. Lets not jump the gun here.

says Yahoo was informed by several league sources before Tmac's e-mail. Tmac simply confirmed what these sources had told Yahoo.

I for one believe that Tmac lead the cat out of the bag. Morey has NOT said that the Nov 18th date is incorrect but has continued to say that the MRI date continues to be Nov 23 (correct that date if I am wrong). He has also said that his return date could be moved forward or could be pushed back depending on the doctor's opinions. I guess we will have to wait and see...

 

I'd love to see 3 points his documentary.
There is also 'Darfur Now' to raise awareness.

 

How many "full practices" have the Rockets even had lately? If he was doing them, we would have heard about it before now.

 

they just had an extensive one b/c of the long break, and i'm sure they have practices b/t games. the point is, he's not being held back anymore and he's been going all out, or what he claims (i don't know why he would lie about that).

however, morey did not specifically say 11/18 is out of the question so i'm sure the doctors have given tracy mcgrady some signals that he can return soon.

again, whatever. this drama is not needed.

 

This is a classic example of something being misinterpretted as I have ever seen.

"Tmac hopes to return...." is NOT "Tmac says he will play"

If that's what was happening, we would have heard it before now. I don't consider tmac.com or whatever a credible source. Maybe he went "all out" for 2 minutes in a scrimmage, and that's what his PR people are referring to.

 

I think Rockets are trying to be cautious or McGrady lied.

I doubt McGrady lied though.

 

The movie is not going to solve the problem. it is to send an awareness to ppl who can help Darfur. t-mac has already donated money to Darfur and he has had a few nba players join him. If you dont feel Darfur is being helped instead of criticizing somebody else who is actually doing something about it. Y dont you help him.....jackass

 

Seems like what happened is that Rockets brass and T-mac set Nov 18th as the date, someone in the org leaked it to news services, the services asked T-mac to confirm, and he did.

Morey probably wasn't firmly set and is trying to be cautious. In a ways, probably to protect t-mac from fans!

 

Most of the reports I've heard have been more about how much better McGrady is now than he has been in a while. He finally went through a rigorous rehab program in Chicago, rather than sticking to his whole trainer. And apparently he can do things that he hasn't been able to do in years. It's probably all conditioning at this point. nov 23, nov 18, its 5 days. Maybe they're seeing it as a possibility of him coming earlier. And i think theyre smarter than to let him out there if hes not looking good. That being said, I think a healthy Tmac will be an awesome addition to the team we already have. His passing skills and scoring are going to be huge. The biggest test will be how he fits the team chemistry and uptempo style. We have never seen a healthy tmac in rick adelmans offense, i think its going to be positive and exciting!

 

As for me, I have been practicing, training, and rehabbing hard for my return to the court. I’m in a good place mentally and my body feels ready to get back out there, so now I am just waiting on my doctors to give me the clearance to go ahead to play. I’m going full speed at practice and am not being held out of drills anymore. from t-mac.com

it's basically tmac's word, but written in eloquent terms by his PR team.

that might have been just recently. again, practices are closed to the public. again, the update said himself he's waiting for the doctors to clear him.

 

I hope he returns soon. I'm ready for T-Mac to come back healthy. In his first game I expect the line up to look like...
