    I think it is safe to say that everyone knows this is a joke.
    If you did not know than you haven't been on here enough but welcome to the board anyways.

    I have a friend who lurks here occasionally. He is a mavs fan so i hesitate to call him friend.

    I called him and told him to look at the front page of clutchfans.
    He did.
    He called me back really surpirsed and scared. Afraid that we were going to be amazing and win it all this year.

    I just said 'yup' and told him to tell his friends. I had his friends calling me, questioning things.I kept it up for a few hours.

    The funny part for me isn't watching the people who believe the joke anymore... it's all the people who think they're the ones breaking it to the rest that this is a joke and can't tell that many of the vets are playing along.

    I think that was the record for most 24-hour bannings in one day in the site's history :)

    i forgot all about april fools day yesterday, so as soon as i came on here i was crazy happy till i immediately went to rockets.com and then realized after a few minutes it was the first

    and then when i called hakeem he just confirmed my suspicions lol

    man, this is going to sound lame.

    but last night, or i guess its two nights ago, i got on at midnight just to see if there was anything. i check the front page.

    nothing. it's midnight. I go to sleep (in two hours)


    I wake up, and check the board and front page at 8am nothing. (unless I missed it)

    I didnt get to check the board at work til waaay later.


    so these must be the post that got deleted.

    I did my best to keep it going, even late into the game thread last night. Thanks, Clutch, it was so much fun. A good number of new posters were had. It was really funny, when some newbies and a few oldies tried to convince me that it was a joke. :D
