You've done lost your mind.... again. The only reason NWA was popular was because they were edgy for the times and the beats. I loved NWA, but they aren't on the same planet as Tupac when it comes to lyrics, delivery, and rap, in general.
This isn't exactly the first time I've made it known that Tupac is amateurishly bad. Right there with Biz Markie bad. The old song "son of cheeseburger?" Poetry compared to his crap. Sorry, but I don't find odd pauses, speeding up and slowing down your lyrical presentation at the randomest of times, and constantly chuckling at what you just said to be what a "good" rapper does. And I can't say it is because it was newer than the old stuff, because I can think of a dozen rap songs that came out more recently that I have liked.

what the **** are "pauses"? I don't hear no god damn pauses. I hear poetry. I hate lyrics that mean a damn, that tackle issues of his time; racism, poverty, social injustice. I hear someone with passion and great lyrics ripping it loose. Fatty truly has no clue what he's talking about. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZboOGKb7vFU" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> You might dislike his style/delivery, that's fine, it's subjective, but to just come out and say he's "the most overrated rapper ever" and "Eazy E is better than him" is ridiculous. There's more to rap than delivery. does Guru (rest in peace) pause too? please inspect this for me: <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hDuoK-7nd6Y" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> Does guru meet your standards fatty? He's only the greatest lyricist of all time.
Ah, there's the "Everything done in the 1980s was better" quote I was looking for. It's not a FFB argument without it.
this guy is much better than the crappy rapper the OP posted http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=199405
