People hate obama because he's black

You would be surprised. There are more opportunities here and some don't find out that the streets aren't paved with gold until they actually stand on them.

President Obama is nothing like any other president this country has ever seen. From his name, to his skin tone, to the fact that he’s an academic. His ‘race’ is just one of the things that have made him one of the most polarizing and disrespected presidents the country has ever seen.

Coincidentally, those same factors will also make him one of the most influential as well.

 

There are three types of Americans:
1. Not racist
2. Racist
3. Those who insistently cry wolf about racism

 

Honestly, if you switched that little letter behind Obama's name to the letter R instead of D, the hating would just reverse. It's really that simple and stupid. Now I am not saying that racism is non-existent but the majority of hate that Obama receives is not due to that.

As for the rest.... tell yourself whatever you need to be proud of your guy.

 

What do you believe is the primary reason that Obama outperformed Kerry in virtually every demographic group across the country except white voters in the deep south, where he not only underperformed, but got about half of Kerry's votes? Keep in mind that these are people that are perfectly willing to vote for pretty far left candidates and that Bush was a Southerner and also had a more natural appeal to this group than did McCain.

I didn't say that Obama is academically different from the rest of the US presidents. I said that he is an academic, as in a member of the academia, AKA a consitutional law professor.

Hell, he's even been criticized for being an academic. READ, and stop looking to pick fights.
